This actually makes me upset. As a person that wants to represent the film industry one day, the owners of The Pirate Bay are addressing Dreamworks as a company, and they hire people from all around the world, not just Americans. They are basically saying that they don’t care if their material is copyrighted and that is it their own work, they want to distribute it anyways. Say you made something like a painting and some random dude from Sweden took it, made reprints of it without your consent and was making a profit, and when you went to address him about this issue he replied “Well I don’t give a fuck I do what I want” it’d drive you mad. 

I agree that longtime copyrighting is a bad idea, it should be limited, but this was fairly recent, and it is insulting to Dreamworks and everyone that worked on that film to address it with an ill-informed political response.
